1. Sunshine Coast Hinterland, QLD – Booloumba Creek
Known for crystal-clear creeks and rainforest walks, this area offers dog-friendly sections outside national park boundaries.

2. Johanna Beach, Great Otway Region, VIC (Outside National Park Zones)

3. Yorke Peninsula Campgrounds, SA

6. St Helens / Bay of Fires Surrounds (Pet-Friendly Zones), TAS
Pets aren’t allowed inside the national park areas, but several surrounding beaches and campgrounds do welcome them. Staying just outside the boundaries lets you enjoy the same stunning coastline without breaking any rules.

Some places, such as national parks, protected reserves and conservation zones, do not allow pets.
