Petcover attends VNCA 31st conference in Melbourne

The Petcover events and business insurance brokerage teams proudly returned as exhibitors at the 31st Veterinary Nursing Council of Australia (VNCA) Conference, held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from 19th – 21st March 2025.

With over 400 delegates in attendance from across the country, this year’s event delivered a vibrant mix of knowledge-sharing, hands-on learning, and valuable networking opportunities. Supported by dedicated sponsors and exhibitors, the conference fostered a strong sense of community among veterinary professionals.

Friday’s theme, “Scrub Day,” added a fun twist, despite the rainy weather. The atmosphere remained warm and welcoming, with many familiar faces returning after last year’s conference in Adelaide.

Attendees engaged in a broad range of lectures and workshops covering essential and advanced topics, including:

  • Neurological anaesthesia
  • Nutrition
  • Blood pressure management
  • Respiratory emergencies
  • Drug misuse in veterinary practice
  • Peri-operative skills
  • Aortic thromboembolism in cats
  • Urinary tract emergencies
  • Paralysis tick patients
  • Avian reproductive disorders
  • Diabetic ketoacidosis
  • Pacemaker patients
  • Rabbit triage
  • Catheter care, and much more!

Congratulations to the Petcover hamper winner Lauren, a proud pet parent to a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, a dedicated Veterinary nurse and a Petcover customer.
