Office based position in Penrose- Auckland, Petcover New Zealand is seeking an experienced premium collection administrator customer service agent to join our small but fast paced pet insurance operation in New Zealand

Key Responsibilities

  • Taking inbound customer calls
  • Follow up on outstanding premium payments
  • Debtor management
  • Make outbound calls to retain current customer base
  • Receipt premium payments
  • Email queries
  • Updating client information

 

 To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong communication skills and exceptional telephone manner
  • Demonstrated Retention Skills
  • Ability to answer customer queries and customer complaints in a professional manner
  • Microsoft Office Skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • A genuine desire to work within the pet insurance industry
  • Previous experience in Pet Industry Veterinary clinic
  • Previous experience within the insurance industry will be highly regarded

Claims Consultant

Job Overview & Responsibilities:

At Petcover we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated driven and friendly people to join our dynamic and hardworking claims team contributing to our positive team environment.

Specifically, as the Claims Advisor you will:

  • Utilise your passion for animals to ensure a smooth process and positive claims experience for our customers, their pets and vets;
  • Manage complex claims until completion
  • Respond to incoming calls and provide excellent phone service in addressing claim queries
  • Support and communicate with our customers via all mediums
  • Obtain complete and accurate information regarding circumstances surrounding submitted claims
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business to ensure all claim decisions are made in a correct and timely manner.
  • Use your veterinary nursing skills to make informed claims decisions
  • Ensure the correct decision is made and communicated clearly on all claims
  • Assist with delivery meeting SLA service through assessing these claims in real time, along with liaising with clinic staff and internal colleagues.
  • Take our customer experience to the next level in claims assessment and processing times
  • Utilise your technical knowledge to provide advice to other areas of the business
  • Any other add duties as directed by your line manager
  • Liaise with external veterinary clinics or hospital staff where necessary
  • Act as first point of contact for customer complaints and resolve these through listening

 

About You:

  • Pet parent or pet advocate
  • Passionate about Petcovers purpose
  • Formal qualifications in vet nursing
  • Clinical experience
  • Demonstrated history of meeting performance baselines.
  • Confidence to take responsibility for claims determination and acceptance
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven experience at developing and maintaining relationships with colleagues and customers
  • A strong team player who works well in collaboration with other and actively participates in team discussions and activities in a positive and engaging way.
  • A keenness to learn and develop
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills
  • Ability to pick up new systems quickly
